Pigeon Problems

I'm working on a children's book. I made the illustrations but also wrote the story. It will soon be available for iPad.

Dressing Up

I love to sew, especially dresses and outfits for costume parties.

I bought this awesome cat fabric a year ago and I really wanted to make a dress of it, but I kept putting it off. But when my graduation exhibition date drew nearer I just HAD to make it because it fitted so well with my cat-themed graduation project. I made different dresses of that same sewing pattern before, so it was really easy.

I always get my sewing patterns from naaipatronen.nl. The one I used for this dress is a Burda pattern. It's a really easy pattern that allows the maker of the dress to adapt the design.

Another dress from that pattern is my princess dress:

I added the poofy sleeves because I originally designed it to be a sort of Alice in Wonderland dress. But I call it my 'princess dress' because I often wear it to costume parties as a princess. When I was a little kid, my mom used to make princess dresses for me, but now I just make them myself :D
